    My uncle was a smart ,good and kind guy.He had a passion for animals and rocks and stuff like that.Once he came over to our house with Riley and I had never in my life seen a better backflip!Once when I was over at my great-grandmother's house he held a gecko in his hand, I would never do that! My uncle was a great man.Bye,Ucle Jimmy Ray.

    You're right, your uncle was a "smart, good and kind guy". He was my best friend when I was in high school. In all these years since, I've never met anyone that I liked or admired as much as Jimmy.

    I remember when Jimmy was trying to learn how to do that backflip. He landed right on his head and scared me good. Then, he jumped to his feet, laughed, and said "I guess I need to work on that". I told him he needed to STOP before he got hurt. He laughed, tried again, and landed square on his feet. That's just how he was. His determination, fearlessness, and unfailing cheerfulness led him to a life that was an inspiration to all of us.

    His memory will ALWAYS be with all of us. I know he is proud that you are finding joy and inspiration from remembering him.
